Vegan Recipes
Most of the recipes on my site are already vegan recipes or can be easily modified as such. In this section, I will try to tackle the more, seemingly difficult, vegan issues such as baking without eggs or making delicious desserts without dairy.
Some foods, such as desserts, require a little more creativity to be made free of animal products. It is more simple, for example, to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich vegan, rather than a birthday cake. For this reason, I will start of this section focusing on desserts and then branch out to other "tricky" concoctions.
Let's get right into it with some excellent
chocolate chip cookies.

I'll be honest, when I made the transition to a nearly vegan diet, I was pretty spartan in terms of my food choice. I was eating cans of beans completely unflavored and unprepared, raw vegetables devoid of any dressing, and handfuls of nuts. While this worked for me, for a while, I knew that it would not work for everyone. Because of this, it was hard to share the benefits of my new vegetarian diet with others, as what I was eating (while nutritionally solid) was pretty devoid most flavor and "fun."
It was not until later that I could enjoy foods more similar to those I was previously used to, in their delicious vegan varations. After all, I would have to 'indulge' every once in a while. What would I do on my next birthday...? What would I contribute during the holidays...?
